The Solution:

UX / UI Design
The first time I heard the concept “Renaissance Man” was in Art School earning my BFA. Learning this idea opened my eyes to the freedom of exploring multiple interests; I realized I could pursue many passions without feeling confined to just one.

Practically since birth my mantra has been, “Don’t box me in.” I have a growth mindset combined with a curiosity and endless drive to learn and understand the world. I need room to learn and grow. As a result, my career path has been anything but conventional, yet each role I’ve taken on reflects my passion for creativity and problem solving. Rather than following a linear trajectory, I’ve pursued opportunities across a variety of fields that have broadened my experience and sharpened my adaptability.

I’ve had the privilege of developing a wide range of skills, from working with asylum seekers as a missionary to offering emotional support to women and children affected by abuse, to coaching teenage girls in basketball, to designing ads and writing radio jingles for Colorado's mountain biking industry. I’ve created uplifting artworks for gallery shows and designed a book on building haunted houses. In each role, I’ve drawn on my ability to empathize, think strategically and collaborate effectively, whether coordinating complex promotional video projects from scratch or guiding people toward positive change in their lives.

My unconventional career has allowed me to remain versatile, constantly learning, and evolving. I’m excited about the future and look forward to continuing to leverage my diverse background to make meaningful contributions in any new opportunity I pursue.

The Science Behind The Girl

My Archetype:

The Zen Punk

A rebel with inner peace, balancing anarchy and enlightenment. They'll riot for a cause and meditate afterward. Fueled by punk rock and mindfulness, they question everything, break "arbitrary" rules, and find stillness in the chaos.
Mantra: "Raise hell, stay chill."

Favorite Accomplishments

Mom of Two Great Humans

Raising two amazing kids (Katarina & Joshua) has been the wildest, most rewarding adventure of my life - equal parts laughter, chaos, and pure heart-melting moments. From sticky fingers and bedtime giggles to deep talks and proud milestones, every day has been a lesson in love, patience, and the magic of watching them become their own incredible people. They've taught me as much as I've taught them - how to find joy in little things, how to see the world with wonder, and how to love unconditionally. No matter where life takes them, they'll always be the BEST part of my story.

Solo Travel in Foreign Country

I worked on a personal art project that took me all over China and the American West. I spent several months from 2018-2019 traveling around the majority of China, with stints back to the states. And... no, I don't speak or read Mandarin. I did learn about 100 words and Google Translate was "usually" handy.
Favorite Lessons:
Learning to trust the kindness of strangers.
Sometimes our best laid plans fall through, but what ends up taking place can far exceed it.

Summiting Mt. Whitney

Climbing to the summit of Mt. Whitney (August 2024) was an unforgettable adventure - challenging, breathtaking, and absolutely worth every step. From the first light on the switchbacks to the final push at 14,505 feet, it was a journey of endurance, determination, and a deep love for the the wild. Reaching the top felt like standing on the edge of the world, a reminder that adventure is always out there, waiting for those willing to chase it.
